Distributed Caching + Data Replication for Scalability and Disaster Recovery
|
Web-based services and other key applications running on server farms need distributed caching to optimize performance. ScaleOut StateServer® offers .NET's leading solution for scalable, production-proven distributed caching.
To handle disaster scenarios, many companies employ multiple data centers running "active-active." For this strategy to be effective, changes to cached application data must be continuously replicated between data centers so that both sites are always ready to handle the workload.
ScaleOut GeoServer® extends ScaleOut StateServer's data caching with scalable data replication, adding a new level of robustness to your disaster recovery strategy.

We’ve been seeing a lot of new additions being made for Visual Studio 2010. A lot of them are encroaching on territory previously controlled by add-ins to Visual Studio. Last week Scott Guthrie posted about the ability to "navigate to" certain code in your solution. This would allow you to jump directly to a class or an interface. Visual Studio’s Intellisense has also grown more powerful in 2010. It now has the ability to auto-complete based on any part of the word even if it doesn’t start with what you typed as well as using Pascal Casing.
