Abstract
This article discusses the new features of Silverlight 3, including support for HD Media, new GPU acceleration capabilities, and out of browser support. Scott also provides comprehensive coverage of the various tools used for developing an application, such as UI Controls, Visual Studio 2008 Tools for Silverlight 3, and Expression Studio 3.
